BLACK BEAT: Did you know from the start what kind of group you wanted 3T to be ?
Taj: We wanted to be versatile in terms of doing everything.

BLACK BEAT: Your names make it easy to assume where the group name came from, but with so many options, what made you go with that name ? And you're not using that famous last name either.
Taj: We called ourselves 3T's, but we decided to drop the "s".

BLACK BEAT: How would it make you guys feel if people started comparing you to the Jackson 5 or your Uncle Michael?
Taj: We wanted to take our time and be what people expected from us, instead of rushing things and being a one-hit wonder.
